Some of you may remember I bought a CD album from Amazon called 'Gather in the Mushrooms' simple because it was cheap and the reviews people had left intrigued me.
I'm pleased to say I like the album! :o)
It's described as
"The British Acid Folk Underground 1968-1974"
and I think that fits fairly well: it's basically some chilled folk tunes that are
also a bit trippy!
The track that definitely made up my mind about buying the CD was 'Corn Riggs' by Magnet. It's one of the songs from the original Wicker Man film soundtrack. I've attached the track so you can have a listen. I didn't realise but the lyrics are actually a poem by Robert Burns set to music.
It's a great album to have on in the background or to help you relax and chillout. And for £3.48 from Amazon it's a bargain!

I might get round to writing a review for Dooyoo at some point, I just find it a bit difficult to review music as well as others.
